Chelyabinsk region (The Ural Federal District)

Chelyabinsk region — a subject of Russian Federation, is a part of Ural federal district. Administrative center is Chelyabinsk city. Borders: the Sverdlovskaya region on the north, Kurganskaya Region on the east, Orenburgskaya Region on the south, Bashkortostan on the west, Kazahstan on the south-east. Was formed on January, 17, 1934.
