At the same time, requests will be directed to the regional Ministries of Finance to assess the impact of programs in the subjects of the Russian Federation

Civic Chamber’s Commission on the Development of Small and Medium Business starts monitoring the effectiveness of government programs to support entrepreneurship.

“The government allocates large funds to support small and medium business. Unfortunately, many programs aimed at rendering this support do not change for years and therefore are ineffective, especially in today's dynamic market”, – said the Chairman of the Commission Dmitry SAZONOV.

“We need to understand clearly which mechanisms to support small and medium business are relevant and which have outlived their usefulness, so we decided to conduct a comprehensive monitoring of the effectiveness of these programs”, –he said.

“In the near future we will open a hotline and conduct online and offline surveys among entrepreneurs on the site of the federal Civic Chamber. Also, we plan to involve regional civic chambers and specialized NGOs into this work. At the same time, we will send requests to the regional Ministries of Finance s with a request for their own independent assessment the programs’ effectiveness in the subjects of the RF, – said Dmitry SAZONOV.

According to him, the data will be analyzed by the Civic Chamber’s experts, and the results will be presented at the meeting of the Civic Chamber, which, according to preliminary data, will be held in September 2014.
