Business to be released form excessive requirements for obtaining government services

18th April 2015

Small and medium business will no longer need to submit paper copies of statements and constituent documents for the provision of government services. Representatives of government agencies will find these documents in the electronic form.

These rules are approved by the law adopted in the third and final reading by the deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The law reduces excessive requirements for business concerning the provision of information during provision of government services.

Under the new law the entrepreneurs will no longer be demanded to provide the founding documents and their copies, including notarized, statements from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs Register. As noted by the head of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Igor Rudensky, paper statements, data on the founding documents of entrepreneurs and legal entities, statements on real estate, paper copies are often not needed and can become a cause of paperwork, and often do not matter for the delivery of government services, or in the exercise of government functions by SMEs.
