On April 20, 2015, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law № 102-FZ “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation on eliminating excessive requirements during the provision of public services and the implementation of government functions”, allowing entrepreneurs not to provide extracts from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL) and the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs (EGRIP) to government agencies.

This document cancels the requirement to provide founding documents and their copies, including notarized, to government agencies and local authorities by business entities during the provision of public services and the implementation of government functions.

Entrepreneurs are also exempt from the provision of extracts from EGRUL and EGRIP.

The document stipulates that the information contained in the founding documents and extracts from both registers can be obtained through interagency electronic interaction of government bodies.

The law will come into force 180 days after the official publication.
