Small and medium business is waiting for tax reduction, improved credit conditions and involvement in public procurement, said the first Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov at the meeting of the State Council in the Federation Council. In developed countries, SMEs contribution to the economy is up to 70% of GDP and resources employment – up to 80%, said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Russia is to introduce a limit on the number of foreign workers in construction

A restrictive quota for foreign workers in the domestic construction industry will be introduced for the first time. Next year migrants, who are admitted to the construction, should not exceed 65% of the total number of employees. This provision is contained in the draft law of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, which is published on a single website for the disclosure of information by public authorities.
